Recently, the bright annealing line 4 at Liuzhou Iron & Steel Zhongjin Cold Rolling Mill completed commissioning and successfully rolled off its first roll of stainless steel BA coil, marking the successful start of the line's trial production.
After continuous optimization and commissioning by the process team, the line has achieved substantial progress in technical precision and production efficiency. It utilizes an intelligent temperature control system and dynamic roll profile compensation technology to maintain coil thickness accuracy to ±2 microns, equivalent to 1/50 the diameter of a human hair. Its hydrogen-nitrogen mixed gas annealing technology improves material performance while reducing energy consumption.
After commissioning, the line's annual production of BA coils will increase to 67,200 tons, covering extremely thin gauges from 0.15 to 1.0 mm. This product will primarily be used in high-end home appliances, medical devices, and other sectors.
As a practical project for the plant to promote its high-end, intelligent and green strategies, the production line will subsequently carry out research and development and trial production of ultra-thin BA plates to provide strong support for Liuzhou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. to expand its high-end cold-rolled market.
